Everything was painted with acrylics, including the figures that were painted on top of the painting with a zero-size brush. It has strong surface texture with complex multi-layered colours.
The unique canvas* is hanged loose on two supporting wood sticks. It’s adorned with four hanging ‘artefacts’ corresponding to the era of Count Tyszkiewicz – round eyeglasses, a prayer book, an oil lamp, and a naturally-holed stone.
